Our Prime Advisor, Mr. Abhishek Kumar, has over 25 years of experience in the development sector, particularly in corporate social responsibility, corporate governance, project management, corporate communication & affairs, public relations, NGO operations, strategic alliances, networking, management system review, and social auditing.
He possesses a deep understanding of public and private sector management reforms, governance, public expenditure management, human resource development, and public-private partnerships at local, national, and international levels.
Mr. Kumar holds a graduate degree from BHU Varanasi, an HRM qualification from IIM Lucknow, and a strategic management certification from IIT Delhi. Additionally, he has earned an MBA from LNMI in Economic Development and Social Change. His academic credentials also include an MSW, NGO management, and expertise in intellectual property rights (IPRs), trademarks, patents, and copyright from the Indian Law Institute, Delhi.
He has worked with over 50 corporate entities and approximately 200 NGOs, either directly or indirectly. His projects include collaborations with the Government of India, state governments, UNDP, World Bank, WHO, ILO, UNO, embassies, and various international and national NGOs/agencies. The key areas he has contributed to include health, education, women’s empowerment, waste management, reproductive and child health (RCH), HIV/AIDS, disability, digital learning, rural development, agriculture, safety, environment, microfinance, livelihood, entrepreneurship development in rural communities, skill development, youth engagement, volunteerism, fundraising, social marketing, base of the pyramid (BoP) initiatives, and business development.
Mr. Kumar has played a leading role in various corporate and NGO-led CSR and development projects.
He has also been invited as a guest lecturer at various universities, colleges, and management institutions. Additionally, he serves as a speaker and jury member for numerous development sector events. He holds positions as a board member, director, and advisor for several organizations and mentors aspiring development professionals.
His work has taken him to many countries, where he has shared insights and gained a deeper understanding of socio-economic development challenges in communities worldwide.
He is the mentor of U-Turn4Nature, a green enterprise initiative supporting bottom-of-the-pyramid communities, particularly women from NRLM SHGs.
Furthermore, he serves as a Senior Advisor (Honorary) to the Kendriya Sainik Board, the apex body under the Ministry of Defense, Government of India, which formulates policies for the resettlement and welfare of veterans (ex-Armed Forces personnel) and their dependents.
He has traveled to many countries for sharing and understanding the concern of the socio-economic development of the community.
He is the Mentor of U-Turn4Nature-green enterprising by the bottom of the pyramid community especially women of NRLM SHG.
He is also Senior Advisor (Honorary) of Kendriya Sainik Board– is the apex body of the Govt of India, under the Ministry of Defense which formulates policies for the Resettlement and welfare of Veterans (Ex-Armed Forces) and their dependents.
